Arboretum… Place to hide, love and have fun!

It was last year, a middle of the winter, when I first visited the National Arboretum. I wanted to check out the place as a potential engagement photo spot. It was December. Cold, Dry and empty. Fall colors had been long gone but the snow hadn’t come yet. The place was almost dead. But I knew the place could have been extremely beautiful if I had come at any other time.

Then I forgot about the place since then. Most of my engagement session were done near Baltimore Downtown. Federal Hill is always the top spot, and Harbor East and Mt. Vernon are popular as well. But neither my brides nor I remembered the National Arboretum. Except Jen… The National Arboretum is her favorite place. She loves the Asian garden, herb garden and capitol columns, and we had so much fun at all of her favorite places!
