45 minute baby portrait session

One of the reasons why I like to photograph weddings more than landscape or nature is that my success rate in weddings is a lot higher than that in landscape photography. I usually get 1 or 2 great photos a day when photographing landscape, but get 100 times more of that at a wedding. Then recently I found that I have a even better success rate at baby portraits. This photoshoot was done in 45 minutes including time to change and feed the baby, and I ended up with over 60 photos that I really like. I’m sure it was mainly because Elsie was such a cute, adorable baby, but I started thinking it’s also because babies are naturally good at expressing themselves. Here’s the slideshow from the session and some of my favorite photos.
