angie and arthur: wedding

A few Saturdays ago, Joe from JPG Photography invited me to Angie and Arthur’s wedding in Silver Spring, MD. Luckily and finally, I feel quite comfortable shooting weddings, and kind of have an idea of what happens next during the wedding. But, I’ve ever been a neither second nor third shooter before, and I was so nervous when I was driving down to Silver Spring to shoot the wedding as a third shooter. You might think,

“what’s so special about being a third shooter if you’ve already shot weddings before?”

Well, it was SPECIAL because I had to hand out my pictures straight out of camera.

So far, I kept my non-processed images like top secrets. Imagine a girl who puts on make-up everyday. She might be pretty, or she might not. But she knows that she looks better with make-up on, and she wants people to remember her at her best. That’s why she puts on make-up everyday, and that’s me with my photos. Yes, I individually Photoshop every single pictures that my brides get.

Quite far from my worries though, the day actually went really well. Joe was a fun and easy-going photographer and caring boss. Not only I had so much fun with him and Rob, the second shooter, but also learned a lot from him.

But most importantly, Angie and Arthur were so happy throughout the day, and that gave me lots of energy. It’s totally natural for a bride to be nervous and worried, but Angie was amazingly relaxed and smiley all day! Umm, at least almost. There were lots of laughs and a few tears. Of course, they were tears of joy.

Here are some of the photos from Angie and Arthur’s wedding.
